Program: "Windows 8 & TV Shows via the Internet"

New Life Church of the Nazarene, 200 Lafayette Drive, Oak Ridge

Ed Von Halle will begin the meeting with a brief review of Windows 8 tiles and charms (covered last month) and then present material on Windows 8 Apps.

Erik Von Halle has the Xfinity App running on his iPad and will demo how to watch TV shows on the iPad as an Xfinity customer using wifi.  We'll also talk about TV over the internet.

We'll end with a short introduction to Perl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perl) and hear more about this subject at a future meeting.
