The Regular Meeting for December 2009 will be held at a different place and time! For this month only, we will meet on Thursday, December 17th, at the SOUP KITCHEN in Oak Ridge. Also, since the Soup Kitchen closes at 7:30 p.m., we will move out starting time up to 6:30 p.m. There is a map showing the location of the Soup Kitchen below.
SPECIAL MEETING IN DECEMBERFor all members, we will gather about 6:30 p.m. at available tables of the Soup Kitchen (look for the Group); you should go through the line and get the items that you wish to eat as you come in. It may take a little time for you to decide, so come a little early so you can make your selection and bring it back to the meeting. We can have some time to get acquainted and exchange ideas and comments about our experience with computers. This will be a good time to think about what a Computer User would like to have for Christmas. We will have some suggestions about new items that are on the market that will make your use of the computer more convenient. You can share you idea of what you would like to have for Christmas, but - as to actually getting that item - you will have to take it up with Santa Claus. We can also share our experience with ordering items online. Everybody come and enjoy.
ANOTHER SHORT COURSE - WINDOWS 7
If people have purchased new computers recently, they have probably now
encountered a PC that uses the Windows 7 Operating System. Also, some
people may be considering a new computer that will have that operating
system installed.
